Riccardo Minelli

Riccardo qualified in 2002 in Italy, and originally worked in research and human cardiology before transitioning into general small animal practice in 2004, continuing to nourish his interest in ultrasonography and cardiology. He moved to the UK in 2008 working as a GP Vet and peripatetic ultrasonographer. He has been with IVC since 2012 and has been a Clinical Director and Referral Vet accepting patients in Small Animal Medicine, Imaging and Cardiology since 2015 having achieved post graduate certification and being a RCVS Advanced Practitioner in all 3 disciplines.

In 2022 he has become a member of the IVC Evidensia UK Small Animal Clinical Board. He currently offers peripatetic ultrasonography together with interventional diagnostic procedures (such as ultrasound guided aspirates and biopsies), endoscopy and cardiology, as well as advice and review on complex medical cases and CT interpretation. He also provides bespoke training and CPDs on general ultrasonography, echocardiography and ECG.
